Photo Safari....

Homestead Ranch is now offering photo safaris from late-June through mid-September enabling you and your family to see and record the many natural wonders of the beautiful Black Mesa. Safari trucks and guides are available for these adventures. Opportunities abound for viewing and photographing elk, several kinds of deer, and many other kinds of wildlife in their natural habitats.

In addition, there is an abundance of beautiful wildflowers and breathtaking mountain vistas. Colorado’s incredible Aspen trees are in resplendent color during the first three weeks of September. There are many other types of fall foliage to enjoy, as well. You will be able to fish (catch-and-release only) for the Rainbow Trout in our two ponds.

The newly-remodeled lodge offers comfortable private rooms, as well as the camaraderie of its spacious common areas, and delicious meals. A 5% discount will apply if you book a fall hunt while here as a guest of our lodge. This will reduce the price of a two-day photo safari to less than half the normal price. This trip must be booked now if you plan to hunt. We will only offer this discount to the first 15 hunters that register.
